Stay off the streets of NOLA tonight. Dawgs will be thirsty
-
A #10, #5, #6 seed in the Final Four.
The expanded playoffs work.
I want 16 teams in from here on out. -
I was on team "keep it to 8 or less" but I have to agree at this point
-
NIL has equalized the top 10-12 teams. No one is unbeatable, not even Indiana.
-
I have supported 12 teams since its inception (last year) and did not want more than eight prior to that.
I still think 12 is the proper number without any provision for G5/6 unless they are ranked top 12.
I think twelve crowns a true champ although the bye recipients losing 7 of 8 is disconcerting.

Bye recipients losing 7 of 8 exposes the seeding process. The judges were also exposed bigly last night with Alabama getting in at all. No doubt ESPN's tie with the SEC and the Alabama "brand" got them in. That said, it was enjoyable watching Indiana clown stomp them, albeit admittedly there is a wee bit of Schadenfreude tied to that joy.
I do think the final four ended up about as right as it could be. The B1G is the best conference, and we ended up with two representatives of the four from the B1G.
Very happy to see Miami in it as well. When they play to their potential they are good enough to be a number one team. If it weren't for Meat at the helm, who knows, maybe they run the table. Then again, he deserves credit for elevating the talent to something that looks like a real Miami team. Either way, if they play like they did against Thee Ohio State, they can win another NC.
Absolutely love this Indiana team. Cig has them tuned up, they look extremely well coached, like a Nick Saban, Bear Bryant, Terry Donahue, Bill Walsh, John McKay, Don James, Jimmy Johnson, coached team that pays attention to the details, executes at a very high level and doesn't make stupid mistakes. They have great lines, a great QB and Becker is absolutely clutch at WR. They should be favored to win it all, but it won't be easy for them from here on out. No more Alabama lay ups. Oregon matches up well against them, and if they get past that they'll likely face Miami (unless Meat goes full Meat) and Miami arguably has better athletes.
-
Not sure I understand the math. How do the expanded playoffs work when it went from 8 to 12? Three of the four remaining are ranked in the top 8. Miami as the 10 is a randomly strong team and I don't understand how they lost two games this year with how physical they looked against an apparently fraudulent tOSU.

The B1G is not really impressing me, on the whole. Top-heavy and a lot of junk underneath the top. The Oregon and Indiana wins yesterday were against quality teams. Illinois beating Tennessee was a solid win. After that, a bunch of patsies.
-
Iowa beat a 10-2 SEC Vanderbilt rather easily
B1G is the strongest conference and it isnt close
-
Does everyone forget that 5-4 UW eviscerated the Mountain West champ??!!?? Joking aside, like the SEC the B10 tiered. But both leagues have 2-3 high end teams competing for a natty and another 4 teams that are better than just about everyone in the other two P4 conferences. I think UW, Michigan, Illinois or Iowa could go 10-2 quite easily in the B12 or ACC.
