Is Michigan waiting and hoping for John Harbaugh or Carroll?
its starting to feel like that is their best option…

Jim Rome, who historically has not been my favorite talking head, has a brilliant rant in classic Rome style on Michigan, and how they think they're better, classier, smarter, etc. than everyone else and never misses a beat to tell you about it.
A rare time I was like 100 on one of that guy's takes. He nailed it. Says the quiet part out loud because most people don't call them out, certainly not the sports media.
It may just not be the job it once was. Contending with Buck is no joke, and unlike Washington, Oregon, Penn State and every one else in the Big, Michigan has to win that game. Lose it a few times and your seat gets warm. Lose it a few more and it gets hot. And IMO Buck is several levels up from them as a program. That bloom on the rose of that natty is fading. They are not anywhere near the consistency of excellence as Ohio State and that, unfortunately for them, is the measuring stick.

No way John follows after the mess Jim made there.
Carroll is washed.

Look how long it took for Jim harbaugh to get Michigan to the promised land, and that came on the back of some blatant and poorly hidden cheating.
Michigan is not the job it used to be.

I wouldn’t touch Pete Carroll. He’s done. He would do better than Belichick but that’s about it.
