Thanks. I was not serious as I had assumed that it was a Vanilla thing. I was just triggered by trying to respond to your PGOS comment in another thread and being greeted by the same non-posted response even after trying to post the same thing in three different browsers.
I will say it has probably saved my ass three or ten times since I tend to type now and think later.

But haie and the rest of this board told me it was on me to fix this behavior, which I refused to do.
Isn't that weird that a competitor has implemented this the correct way?

Here is today's update from my IT guy:
"You were right about (Vanilla's) recent changes causing issues, because they broke a lot of my working code. After the import, I found almost all posts were empty due to the way they changed formatting of message text. Then the attachments, something changed about that and each attachment came in multiple times. I'm working on fixes today."
When I asked him if our history was lost, he said he'll be able to restore the posts.
