I've commented on this a number of times over the year but to the credit of the TSIO bros, @Tequilla @Dennis_DeYoung and @CokeGreaterThanPepsi , they correctly called the 2016 turnaround using stats are for losers metrics.
I don't think Jedd is Pete, per se, but maybe he is. Pete's offense fucking sucked too against good teams.

If Fisch were a good coach, he would realize that his playcalling is probably the biggest reason why the team isn’t great.
That, and he should be pouring a lot more effort into the OL.
Since offense is supposed to be his area of expertise, these are pretty telling shortcomings.

Agree. Fisch hasn’t been a real part of successful offenses in his career. He was on the outside for the glory days with McVay, John Donovan style. He’s had some bleak years as a coordinator. He’s a better head coach than he ever was as a coordinator.
The fact he had a defense at Arizona with Johnny Nanson as DC and this year’s UW defense shows he has something going with his program teaching good fundamentals and physicality. Players seem to develop and get better under his watch. He can recruit, organize, and run a structured program and I think that is because he is an intelligent guy.
I’m not at all impressed with his schemes and play calling or with Jimmy Dougherty being the #2 offensive mind on staff.

I think we? all need to start referencing P4 W/L, or just conference play in UW's (and most teams') case.

Assuming Fisch and staff come back and they keep building the roster, I see 9 regular season wins. Maaaaaaaaybe 10 if the ball bounces their way (staying healthy while catching the best teams on the schedule at a bad time).
