the dude is a 68 year old struggling "author" with a comb over who got his MBA (supposably) at UW in the 80s, when you could walk in to the school as long as you could walk in to the school.
it's fucking embarrassing from the perspective of the UW alumi ... or at least this UW alumnus.
we are talking about a school with a 60% admit rate vs. one with a 75% admit rate. 50th percentile GPA and test scores of the two schools are spaced apart by a proportionate degree.
it's just not a situation where you want to go all Ivy League in your attitude. among the publics, Virginia can do that I guess if they're feeling like their dicks are small. UCLA and Berkeley can do it too I suppose because they enjoy relatively low admit rates (almost entirely a function of the crazy number of people who just automatically apply in part because they're in California), though both campuses are crawling with more than a handful of dumb shits. Michigan has the same problem with a 50+% admit rate (they don't get the apps that the UCs get) - their claim to fame is a bunch of top 10 programs.
can't wait for Texas Tony to jump in here and go bat shit over this, but you need to be Ivy League, top end LAC, Furd, MIT, Duke, Academies, Vandy, Wash U, G town or Rice before taking on that attitude. Stanford admits SIX FUCKING PERCENT of its applicants. 6% vs. almost 60%. Kal is like 17%.
when you routinely admit over HALF the people who apply, you are, by definition, not an elite anything. yipee - it's better than Oregon's 70+%.
who in the fuck cares? recruit some people to help on the field and shut the fuck up about academics. it's pitiful.

Academic smack is all we've got left. BTW, that fucking plunger is getting splinters on it from over-use. Could you buff it out a bit next time?
It would be wrong to look up this guy on Zabasearch and kick his ass.
what a fag.

Basically representative of UW's student body, and how much the school really cares about football.
The only LBFM in that group is first row second from the right. Sark spirited the only other at UW back to SoCal.
