They're going to miss Boston badly. Are there any other receivers with his size and speed on the roster? I see a bunch of 6 foot guys who look like slot receivers.

It's possible they make a very good offer to Boston to come back, particularly if he doesn't get a 1st or 2nd round grade.

Demond is Fisch's guy and I can't see him not being back next year but he's just not the type of QB to win a playoff game. He's not an NFL QB and will have to take a massive step next year to be even a back-up.

UW needs to start recruiting NFL QBs again rather than guys who have trouble seeing the field and make too many mistakes against above average defenses.

I think Demond is a very talented QB that for the most part was accurate this season. I think the “be a pro” bullshit hurts him a little bit. Instead of getting him ready for the NFL, let’s win games.

He’s not the first dual threat QB to struggle initially as a pocket passer. He has to get better at it, and/or have an offense more suited to his strengths.

The OL was much improved and takes too much flak here. QB’s have to make quick reads and make big throws under pressure.

Fisch said after the game they have to coach better. Demond said he takes 100% of the blame for the offense’s performance in the big games. Right now, it’s just words but they are saying the right things.

We are in a better position at QB than most. Big schools would want Demond if he was available.

Demond needs better coaching. That’s all. He could be a great COLLEGE QB.

I disagree. He shriveled against teams with upper tier talent and is too small. Coaching isn't going to fix his inability to see the middle of the field, due to being a dwarf, and his noodle arm.

cool. I do think a smart college coach would use his feet as a weapon. Move the pocket outside so he does t have to see over 6-5 defensive linemen. Call more run option and help him understand when he should keep the ball and when he should hand off (right now, he almost always makes the wrong decision). Call more play action from under center.

he’s not a dumbo. But his coach is.

You are both right Demond isn’t physically talented enough and Fisch sucks as a qb coach.
