Nonsense take. It was never the perfect game, quite the opposite. Oregon's D is built for stopping offenses like UW's. They set the edge and contain on D and they have an elite pass defense.

Does this build include 3 times not covering or getting beat bad by Evans out of his break and the QB with no to very little pressure (twice with room to run for a first) either throwing the ball at his feet or throwing to a covered guy for 2 yards?

On a micro level Demond missed some, on a macro level UW was never winning this game because Oregon has the talent and coaching to do exactly what needed to be done to stop you? from scoring. Dante Moore missed a bunch of reads and throws today. That shit happens. Saying it was a perfect game for DW to succeed when he's been an utter failure against every defense with a pulse indicates you don't know a damn thing about football.

I don't see Demond ever being a guy capable of making full field reads and playing with NFL timing.
You can win a lot of games with Demond's skillset, but the good teams will take away the gimmicky stuff and it just gets really tough if you don't have a huge talent advantage.
Maybe he has another leap in him but I'm not counting on it.
