Then they take Walters

Thud.

Walters has tasted the power. If he's worth a shit, and he is, then he has an ego. If he has an ego, it's not going to sit well with him that he had to take a demotion because he couldn't win at fucking Perdue, which is a loser program that a lot of people say didn't support Walters at all.
I don't think he wants a lateral move from where he's already succeeding. He wants to parlay what he's doing into another shot at HC.
Cook it.

If Tosh leaves it is going to be Chris Hampton. He's had the "co-dc" title for 3 years. Walters is obviously very good.
-
Of the Coney Island Hamptons?
-
no they won’t. Walters doesn’t want to go be the fake DC for lannings defense.
-
There's probably a million DCs who had a cup of coffee as a HC and realized they are just football coaches. There's no way to know where Walters lands right now but UW needs to stifle his curiosity with a fat stack and a bigger boat than Fischs
-
I think there's a million DCs who had a cup of coffee as a HC and YOU AND I realize they are just football coaches (assume you meant, coordinators).
I'm not sure there are a million DCs who had a cup of coffee as a HC and came to that conclusion themselves. That takes a walk on the beach. I know there are some who have ID'd their Peter Principle line but I think most of them think they can run the show if given the chance.
PS: just added this to extend my thud thread a bit longer.

The only perspective they need is were it not for their willingness to make coffee and do shit jobs in their 20s, they’d all be working as PE teachers.
