The punter didn't want to get hit.
He was in shock for 2 seconds when he saw McLaughlin so quickly to the ball, about to truck him.
McLaughlin has great football speed and instincts. He keeps embarrassing teams with his quick reactions.
He's taken over Brunell's role as MVP of this defense this year. -

Same thought exactly, most players simply fall on the ball. Having the instincts to pick up the ball and run with the intent to score shows his smarts. Easily the most consistent player on D all season.

100% agree he really is a baller, high football IQ. I can see him playing on Sundays for what it's worth, though I could care less about NFL.

Just noticed we have coaches on the sidelines with their arms out to prevent players from going on the field or getting sideline warnings
