Indiana looks very real. Winning by 10 at Autzen is a rare true big win this season and they've been dominant outside of a couple road struggles where they still got the win.
Ohio State feels like they should easily be the best team in the nation but probably in the middle at best of the teams they've had the past 25 years. Feels like their dominance has a lot to do with the weakness of the field.

Welcome to mini pro football
The 9-7 Giants won the Super Bowl over the 18-0(1) Patriots
Just get to the show. No one cares that Ohio State didn't even play in the CCG last year

Superior pulled it off. I have hard time seeing Fisch trying to replicate it.
Superior was the good-looking, golden boy QB, won the Heisman, won the natty, kicks your ass in golf, fucks your wife and talks you into feeling grateful for having crossed paths with him. He was also legitimately funny. The Auburn library / coloring books and Free Shoes shit was OG smack talk.
They broke the mold after that guy.

Tom Osborne going in dry on Superior is my favorite non Husky related moment of 1990s college football. Beating Dennis and @creepycoug the year prior is #2.

Pfft.
1992 is my favorite non Husky related moments concerning Nebraska.
In 1992, the Huskers didn't cross the 50 yard line until the half was winding down and for the game, they were held to just over 80 yards rushing, total, where they'd averaged over 350 yds./game on the season. A lot of guys here are probably too you to appreciate the significance of that stat against that team at that time.
Only time I ever saw Nebraska get thrown around that completely back in those days.

Meh - winning a home game by 3 scores ain't nothing compared to the grit required to win in Lincoln against a greased up Husker. Washington already proved several years later that Dennis Erickson led 90's Cane had gone soft @creepycoug .

Yeah, you're desperately wrong here. You're young, so I'll write it off to that.
Unless you've seen, in person, the Big 8 champs, especially Nebraska, play in the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day, you just don't know what was going on there.
Miami was in complete control of the game from the first whistle to the last. Nebraska could not have beaten them if they played 10 times in 10 different zip codes. You can cite grease and zip codes all you want but when you get handled like that it just doesn't fucking matter. Miami even played a shitty game on offense with a number of their own sloppy miscues. But on defense Nebraska couldn't breathe.
'94 has nothing to do with '91.
There was nothing "meh" about that ass kicking. It was rare to physically beat Nebraska like that back then and to completely thwart their running game. Did not happen every day.

Never forget!!

SI was and is retarded.
Bob Devaney, aka the smartest mind in college football, put it best:
From the LA Times, so you know it's true.
80 yards rushing, I says. And chunks of that in garbage time.
Grit and grease, indeed.
Pfft.
