Are these guys PWO types?

You know you are leveling up as a program when to have the opportunity to flip a kid from Tulane!

The negativity … just way too over the top

They're doing a good job of recruiting and getting some flip candidates like this is solid. Easily the best the program has recruited since 2019.
I know there was an Ivy League local OL I think last year they considered bringing in as a grad transfer but ultimately passed I think. I think the jump from Ivy to power football is tough.

Flip those two Baylor kids and get the Mission Viejo DT that they got a crystal dong for and I’d be very happy with this class. I’m really impressed with the kids they brought in for 2025. More so after seeing them in person than when they signed. If 2026 yields similar results you’d be looking at 15-16 high caliber starters from the two classes. Get a couple of the developmental DL/OL from each class to pop and that’s really, really great work from this staff. I’m still not sure they can coach them to the playoffs but the roster building is as good as UW’s had in 5-6 years.

When you look at the 2025 class I think you can make the following conclusions:
Likely have 2 multi-year starters on the OL in Mills and Champ (potential for 3-4 year starters for both)
Have 2 WRs that have flashed as part of your WR group over the next 3 years (Roebuck and RVB) and a 3rd WR in Lawson that has played … Roebuck is looking like the next in the line of high-end UW WRs
ZRS likely starts next year and his ceiling may be as the best UW LB in a decade
Both Dillard-Allen and Dylan Robinson have held their own this year in the secondary and likely become multi-year starters beginning next year
So getting 7 guys that you can easily see in starting roles going forward … and not just in starting roles going forward but many impactful roles is really nice to see. What's even more impressive is that it's a mix of can't miss talent at the top of the recruiting rankings as well as in talent evaluation in someone like Roebuck that wasn't highly rated.
In looking at the 2026 class I think you are probably going to see a similar level of youth coming in and being impactful right away … and quite possibly with a greater impact in both numbers and quality.
How they are able to supplement the youth coming in with what's already on the roster and what they need to prioritize in the portal will establish the ceiling for next year.
