Eck. The whole Eck and nothing but the Eck.
-
Ok, who are your top 3?
-
I don't like that Mullen fizzled at Florida, which is his only job that is comparable UW. Danielson isn't having a good year at a really easy program to win at. Looks like a guy who was a Jeanty merchant last year. I honestly don't know enough about Morris' schemes etc but don't love that this is his first big year above Division 1 and he only had one good year there too.
I LOVE Eck, but assume especially in this carousel he's a hot commodity. Plus, can you keep him from just going to Wisconsin whenever they fire Fickell?

Eck or Entz
-
I forgot about Entz, definitely appealing and he has been building up his recruiting connections in Cali as Fresno State's coach.

Stalin's former boss on the other site has some thoughts
"Losing sucks. The worst part about is listening to those who seem to enjoy the losses more than celebrating the wins. The mental gymnastics some perform to be the smartest guy in the room is amazing at times. And the over the top emotional fans who are so over the top, it’s embarrassing. Fire the coach. Bring in the backup. They’ll never win another game."

A lot of you want Fisch to fail just so you can say you were right
-
My word. The thing is we should have been more hysterical after the Michigan loss. Losing by 17 to that team, which was basically a less talented version of their last year team but with a better QB who was still a very limited true freshman, with their best player hurt.
-
Some of us were. I wanted him fired after the Maryland game.
-
I don't want him fired, at least now, but the Wisconsin loss was much more troubling because they were coming off a bye. What's worse is that the offense showed no creativity and scored ZERO points after the half…for supposed offensive gurus (Fisch / Dougherty), that's a pretty big indictment.
The long field goal was questionable too and then was blocked.
The punter sucks too and shanks too many balls. Can't they find a better guy than him? It doesn't matter if he punts 70 yards in practice if he usually shanks 35 yarders when the lights come on.
Bottom line is that in my humble opinion, he's not the guy. Very good recruiter and can assemble a good staff but he's not the right head coach for UW. I'll gladly eat my words if he wins out but I don't think he will.
