Meanwhile DeBoer will probably win the natty this year while @RaceBannon puts his balls in every one’s face.
-
Tonight was the 1st time I got sense on social media that UW Natives are Restless about Fisch here as a gameday coach. Last year could be chalked up to having a D3 OL and D2 DL.
Even Greg Lewis on Honks Postgame show called out Jedd and teams readiness to play on road in the most PC carefully worded way possible but you knew what he was implying.
-
Not in my face. I've been saying largely the same thing, just not as vociferously
-
No, not in your face.
-
I could see a DeBoer UW team playing the same game yesterday only winning it 17-13
-
I think this is fair.
-
DeBoer's teams often played poorly but they knew how to win. Jedd can't find his own dick.

Oregon state in 2024 was this game. Our Doogs had Bruener though. I don’t think this team has a guy that would sacrifice a nut for the program like I’m sure he would
-
I don’t argue about whether we could have kept DeBoer because I have no clue, but thinking he’s not a good coach is being a jilted lover. I had a feeling at some point, he would have Bama at a high level.
-
This. I’m not upset that we didn’t seem to have good energy, the distractions, etc. I’m pissed because a good coach wins those ugly games. DeBoer pulled them all out after 2022 and he righted the ship quickly after blowing the ASU game in 2022.
-
Since all roads lead to DeBoer - I just saw for the first time on Wikipedia he played for Western Washington University in 1992 and redshirted? Am I crazy or have I never heard this or is this Wikipedia made up? Would be wild if he spent a year 80 miles from Montlake at the end peak of the Dong James years.

I was with PGOS at 9-3 or Fire Fisch. I think it’s still a major success if we win out, but seeing the same bs play out time and time again on offense says that ain’t happening. Judd needs to hire a good OC
-
So if UW wins out from here (they won't, but as a thought experiment). How do we feel?
-
-
TF do you mean wins out? A natty? Beating Orgon and winning a bowel? Y'all will be spontaneously jizzing yourselves 5 times a day on the way to the '26 natty regardless.
-
If? We? Win out, the only bad loss is Wisconsin and a good upset is Oregon, so, as down as I am right now on Judd, I still think it would be a good second season all things considered
-
The script right now says beating Purdue, losing @ UCLA, losing against Oregon, and then winning a subpar bowl to go 8-5.
-
I'm glad people are asking this.
I fully expect we beat Purdue, perhaps impressively, and then somehow squeak it out in Pasadena and then lose to Oregon by 10-15 while keeping it close for 3Q.
To me this would not be a sign of anything other than mediocrity. Judd will get a 3rd year (or more), assuming he wants it.
In this day and age, with almost 2 years complete, we shouldn't be struggling on the road against everyone and certainly shouldn't be losing to a 2-6 team with the punter as their leading passer.
-
But it was cold and raining. Sleeting even.
Hard for a PNW team to handle that kind of weather and Badger is used to it.
-
Don’t forget, 2-6 Wisconsin was big, physical and aggressive. Judd makes it sound like West Coast teams can’t compete with teams like that until they look like that which is simply not the case. Such fag J … udd
-
-
Judd’s offense against any defense with a pulse has scored 16 points in 3 games (6,7, 3*). Is he really a good offensive coach?
*I’m not counting the TD vs Wisconsin that came off the blocked punt. -
One shouldn't be able to be expected to win in the cold rain if your the Washington football team.
-
LOL at firing the OC. Judd is the Offense.
-
You say that like he has one
-
which is unacceptable.

"We Should Be Pissed
I can totally understand losing to Ohio State. I can understand losing to Michigan, too. But Wisconsin? Although I was never a firm Jedd believer, I’ve always tried to keep an optimistic perspective on things. With all the reports recently (not really recent, but still) that Jedd and his family don’t like Seattle, and then to follow up with that performance is such an embarrassment. He alienated the entire fanbase and pissed them off at the same time.
I grew up in Baton Rouge, and LSU’s my second team. They fired a coach in Brian Kelly who I thought was a good coach, all his losses were to top 10 teams. You don’t even want to know the shit that would go down if LSU lost to a terrible team like Wisconsin. If their standards are that high, ours should be too.
If our expectations don’t change, we will be stuck in mediocrity. We have every right to be pissed, and we honestly should be. That was a pathetic performance today."
