Thamel during the Gators/Bulldogs game said Judd is an option for UF. But not thee option, Kiffin remains #1 on the short list.
btw Thamel is a goofy guy all around, first time I’ve heard him talk live and not just a written article Thamel.. Are all print guys weird when required to sit in front of a camera?

Kiffin should either stay put or go to LSU. Florida isn’t that much of an upgrade over Ole Miss at this point. He seems to have a lot of financial support there.

Auburn is open now, Judd has ties to Gus/Auburn too. The talent level there is scary bad, that job might be a better fit for Judd because he could bring a ton of young talent w/ him from UW.

And yeah Thamel is awkward as shit. So are pretty much all of his types which are the guys who had faces and personalities for print with headshots from 1999 that never thought they'd have to become influencers to pay for their condo in some suburb that's basically a giant Chilis.
I assume their sources are the 2-3 agents that run everything now.

How many programs out there can afford to do the "fire coach, pay big buyout to fired coach, hire new coach at a premium and pay their buyout to their current employer" cycle every 3 years until they get it right?
Schools are quickly going to realize they can't do this more than once a decade and fans at places like Auburn, Florida (has been program), etc are going to have to adjust their expectations.
On top of that, the best college coaches all want to LEAVE for the NFL.
The coaching carousel is not sustainable. I would not want to be a school making a hire this cycle.
