Head Coach Jedd Fisch Postgame Press Conference: Illinois

I mean, he is from Phoenix and always talked about how ASU is his dream job…
He made the playoffs last year and was a play away from the final four.
Unless he starts being mediocre and gets disillusioned with the leadership at ASU, why leave?
-
Because guys always end up leaving.

When Fisch leaves, I still think it will be for the NFL. I just wish I knew when that was.
Other than the weather, I don't see why he would leave for Florida or UCLA. He went to college at Florida and was there for 2 years as a GA but that was 25 years ago. Plus, the vast majority of his coaching years have been in the NFL.
I guess Florida could come with an amazing offer of $12 million a year, along with the $10 million buyout but they have been mostly a mess for awhile and have fired 4 coaches in a row after Meyer left. It would still be tough sledding recruiting-wise since Miami is the best in the State now and Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee can effectively raid the State too.

Dillingham is a paid Oregon operative and will ultimately lose on purpose every year in late November to them if he came here.
-
Florida is not hiring a career .500 coach. Not a chance in hell.
They are looking for Urban v2.0 who was 39-8 prior to going to Florida.
Jimmy Sexton is going to leverage this for a nice little raise/extension for Jedd.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves either, Fisch could always lose on the road @Wisconsin or @UCLA.

Judd is a Wasserman guy.

Needs more Ari and Lloyd.

And Sloan.

Could? Anyone who isn't expecting it hasnt been watching.
This discussion is about a coach who hasn't even had a competitive game against a good team yet. A losing record with no road wins in a full season, and six tap in wins against shit teams this year with 1 road win through 8 games. A road blowout to a team that then lost 3 straight and fired a long term coach.
The most realistic scenario based on performance to date is that UW loses both of those road games and *we're back to wishing someone would St Haden him away.
-
That's what I mean, some people are acting like it's virtually guaranteed that UW will be 9-2 going into the Oregon game.
Wisconsin was super banged up going into their game on Saturday so the bye week could see many starters come back:

Until it's over its not over
Nobody was harder on Fisch than me but if he wins out he gets to fuck the prom king
Unlikely sure but it could happen
