I have seen people talking about Oregon being an Astro Turf program….artificial and only created due to Phil Knight's money. I am more familiar with the term of All Hat, No Cattle (lots of sizzle, no steak).
Oregon was getting fluffed so hard by the (paid media) yet Oregon now 5-1 with more FBS wins over teams that have already fired their coach (2) than teams with winning records (1).

The Fisch/Lanning debate was excellent.
I can’t find myself hating Lanning for some reason. Coke addict and a moron, sure. But seems like a guy you want to play for. I think he’d find success elsewhere.Still don’t know if I’d trade Fisch for him.
Has anyone heard anything bad about Fisch within the program? I haven’t heard a peep and agree with D that players seem to like him.

I’d probably just have fun laughing at Lanning’s antics if he was at any other school and still kind of do. Feels like it’s something that can’t not blow up spectacularly at some point.
one of my worries about Judd is he just doesn’t feel like a football guy but the players do seem to like him and be bought in.
