Do you think this just happens by accident?

Ohio State played 9 games in 2020. UW played 3? Bucks made the natty and lost to Bama
The SEC owns natties since 96 so I'm not sure how that disproves the point. If there is one
From 1920 to 1990 the Midwest and Pacific coast dominated football
Except for 1926 dammit

Just for fun

well at least Pete Rose can be in Cooperstown now !!
-
Petersen was never winning a natty with that offense.
-
Harbaugh was never winning a natty with that offense

Back in the 1980s UW had a season ticket waiting list of something like 5,000, even with the Seahawks being all the rage regionally. In the 1990s, more than one media person called the UW and its fan base a Pac-10 school with an SEC fanbase. Its possible we've gone too soft and PC, but we do have a history

@SECDAWG! True???

As much as I'd love to dunk on the Oregon Rose Bowl thing - they won at Ohio State with a young CJ Stroud at QB and went toe to toe last year in their home stadium and found a way to win. We jumped directly to the GREATEST DEFENSIVE OFF ALL TIME line which 75% of the time when I feel like we do that after a loss like that said defense goes out and gives up 38 to Minnesota.
At the moment they're are much closer to Ohio State than we are. We see how this season plays out.

That was before half of the student body became international and out-of-staters. No, I will not take it to the Tug.

I think the program winning one game in 2004 and zero in 2008 had something to do with that. Plus a shitload of mediocrity surrounding all of those.
