Who Wins: Terps

Talent, rosters etc says UW should win.
Fisch and road game history says we shot the bed.

I think I said on the pod that I thought Washington would lose but I stand corrected. Apparently this exact game has already been played 100 times and the Huskies have won 51.5 of them so I’m going with the slight favorite here.

I was at NRG shithole super early to my seat to see him come out alone dressed like a ninja and thought that there was no way we were losing that game.

Was just thinking about how I could see a future where Penix' and Odunze's NFL careers make it confounding how we didn't win that game. Good thing we had fringe position coaches as defensive coordinators and we got carved up by a running back who is a fringe practice team guy who averaged about 4 yards per carry against anyone else his last two years of college.

And all that being said it was a 7 point game midway through the 4th quarter and UW had the ball
The offense sputtering lost us the Natty

Not that we need to hash it out again but I do think the last piece of how that game will be thought of right or wrong is how the NFL careers of the guys involved pan out. Sainristal on Michigan is a beast and picked off Penix a couple weeks ago and Mason Graham looks like he could be a dude an absolute beast despite getting chodestomped by our Portland State center last year on the goal line. LIPO with McCarthy.

Edwards or Corum? Edwards killed Ohio State, ran for 185 in the B1G conference title game and another 119 against TCU in the playoffs in 2022. Edwards was mostly average but had some huge games at important times.
Corum was a really good college back. Michigan was really good. Our offense picked a bad time to not play its best. Deboer taking calls and probably knowing he was on his way out didn’t help.

good point chuck.

Easily a top five post by me, though I'd rank this one a bit higher.

Edwards. Weird career yeah he had big moments in 2022 but absolutely did nothing in 2023-24 for the most part unless he was playing Washington. Corum was a great college running back. A lot like a slightly bigger Gaskin. I've always been on record as that Michigan team was great and unfortunately we ran into them AND had a bad game. Looking back now it's also pretty ridiculous we didn't hire a real DC. I forgot we couldn't get the Hamilton Tiger Cats' coach to come here.

Until Fisch proves he can win a real road game (Pullman doesn't count motherfuckers), I'm not gonna predict he can.
Maryland rather easily, say 34-17?

And DeBoner was distracted for a month. I’ll die on this hill, so it’s not shocking the O sputtered. Our guys deserved better

The only flaw is that Harbaugh was doing the same thing
