More bad economy news

It was always going to be close to 4 percent before it crashes and burns and stuff gals -

I’m old enough to remember Obama telling us that 1.5-2% gGDP was “the new normal”…
-
As did H. 4% growth was a pipe dream and you can't grow out of the deficit and nothing can be done so let's raise taxes and spending
-
I guess hh's spot on prediction of a 2nd and 3rd quarter meltdown was wrong? How can that be?
Record stock market.
Record number of Corporate buy backs.
Revenue soaring.
Tariffs not effecting the purchaser but bringing in billions.
All that positive stuff and what do the brilliant minds on the left want to do? They want to shut the government down if they don't get another Trillion to spend/waste. The doge cuts and the ngo pullbacks hurt their corruption spending so they want another trillion to waste on their secret organizations and the grift associated. Just so corrupt.
Smart Economic and fiscal management are clearly not democrat party characteristics.

We all know CNBC is just parroting what Trump wants
-
What a waste of Big H’s mythical MBA and other post-grad degrees to continually be wrong about everything regarding economics.
-
Dems only play is to intentionally tank the economy as best they can before next Fall.
I won’t be surprised with Covid 2.0 shutdowns in solid Blue states that their morons will adhere to starting next Spring that will bring down national economic numbers:
-
The Western Health Alliance will keep all on the west coast safe.
-
Where are the leftists this morning?
-
Working on the messaging.
Why a good economy is white supremacy.
-
I do think it's important to add though that many people in their 20s and 30s are struggling to find decent work. So it's not all completely rosey.
But the people that were forecasting tariff doom and gloom were completely wrong.

If you had Atl as unable to track what I said about second quarter, please collect your winnings.
Dementia is a cruel mistress.
-
Odd how they always project low and revise. After all they lied high for every Biden report and hid it for extended periods. I doubt 3.8 is correct either.
-
Correct. The H1B thing is very much intended to address this. They are basically serfs if nothing changes. Most that are older will be fine, but as history has shown us the serfs will rise up and take shit if their opportunities aren’t there.
-
So you are ignoring your own incorrect prognostications.
Got it. Same sad story, just a different day.
-
Tell kids to go to college then hire cheap foreign labor. Let's ruin another avenue for kids. You have to admit that at least Trump gets it.

Senator Grassley, R Iowa, is a little late to the party. He is fucking 92 years old. Graduated with a Masters from Iowa State Teachers College in 1956. Then in 1959 the grift started. Served in the Iowa House from 1959 to 1975. Then in the US House from 1975 to 1981. Then a US Senator from 1981 to current 2025, so 44 years in the Senate. Biggest achievement is mandated use of corn ethanol in US gasoline to make it more expensive and less efficient for US consumers but incredibly profitable for millionaire Iowa corn farmers and Archer Daniels Midland. Corn ethanol at best is CO2 neutral. So turning food into fuel serves what purpose? Geezus.

My thoughts on the GOP congress
-
I will cut them a little slack. If they don't want to break the Senate filibuster rules they were limited to what they could stuff into the Big Beautiful Bill which only needed 50 votes through reconciliation. Anything else needs 60 votes. But nonetheless, they need to be putting through the 80-20 legislation and make Schumer vote it down. Like no men in women's sports or boys in the girls locker and bathrooms. They aren't doing that. Too many "Republican In Name Only" senators want nothing to do with a vote on tariffs or deportation enforcement. They are happy to call the US Senate the world's greatest debating body but want to lead from behind.
-
Repeating your errors doesn't correct them.
-
To H’s credit he did say q2 would be good on gdp while we were still in q2. He won’t admit it but 3.8% over achieved vs his call.
-
We have just enough paid for RINOs too give us problems. They'll be dumped at midterms.
-
This is the Pam Bondi of Congresses.
-
The dems vote for this shit. Get this on to the Senate floor and let's see what happens.
-
The growth in the second quarter follows a GDP contraction of 0.5% in the first quarter, which leaves GDP growth in the first half of 2025 at an annualized rate of about 1.65%.
-
We're aware of the first quarter since you post it once a week
