I already told him the Tug has its own rules and I’m bound to the rules of this forum. I’m legitimately trying to make peace with Chris in here.

Nice win at the Procore for Scotty. All 10 Americans made the cut. Ben Griffin is my choice for the Ian Poulter role for the US.

There was a Patrick Reed sighting at the BMW. Top 5

And it all comes down to this one week from Friday

Thanks for the invite and it's great to be here with passionate and smart fans! Here's the potential matchups that intrigue me the most!

    Scottie Scheffler vs Jon Rahm:

Two of the best tee-to-green players in the world. Power, precision, and intensity.

    Bryson DeChambeau vs Rory McIlroy

Big hitters, big personalities. Expect fireworks off the tee and tension in the crowd.

    Justin Thomas vs Viktor Hovland

JT’s Ryder Cup fire vs Hovland’s icy consistency. A clash of clutch vs calm.

    Collin Morikawa vs Matt Fitzpatrick

Iron play masters. Could be a surgical duel of ball-striking brilliance.

Xander Schauffele / Patrick Cantlay vs Fleetwood / Hatton

Proven pairings with chemistry. Could be the most strategic and emotional foursomes match.

    Cameron Young vs Ludvig Aberg

Rising stars with fearless games. A glimpse into golf’s future.

What do you think @EverettChris ???

    5 reasons Team USA wins:

Elite Ball Strikers - Scottie, Xander, and Colin are the best tee to green players which is tailor made for Bethpage challenges

Home course advantage - The New York crowd is unashamedly Team USA and will make Team Europe feel every missed shot. Bethpage Black is a loud, over aggressive, power driven American style course not sissy links style

Experience - Seven members of the existing team whooped Team Europes ass back in 2021. These guys are 16-4-5 in Ryder Cup play

Depth and Versatility - Add Cameron Young and Ben Griffin to a stacked lineup and there’s really no weaknesses. This depth will allow for better pairings than the US has had in the past

Clutch Putting and Match Play Pedigree: Sam Burns leads the PGA Tour in strokes gained putting. Cantlay is a Ryder cup closer.

5 reasons why Team Europe Wins

    Team Chemistry and Continuity
Eleven of the twelve players were part of Europe’s 2023 win in Rome. Familiar pairings like Fleetwood & Rose and McIlroy & Åberg bring cohesion and trust, which are vital in team formats.

    Foursomes Strength
Europe traditionally excels in alternate shot formats. Players like Fitzpatrick, Rose, and Straka thrive on accuracy and consistency, which are key at Bethpage.

    Star Power at the Top
Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, and Rory McIlroy are all capable of beating anyone in the world. If two of them get hot, Europe can flip entire sessions and build momentum.

    Underdog Mentality and Resilience
Europe often performs best when underestimated. Handling the hostile New York crowd and pressure could fuel emotional players like Hatton and Lowry to elevate their games.

    Strategic Pairings and Balance
Captain Luke Donald has built a team with a mix of youth and experience. His likely use of proven partnerships early, followed by strategic integration of rookies, could keep Europe competitive throughout the event.
