My 1981 Mazda 626 was a compact with a 2.0 liter straight 4 cylinder with a double barrel carburetor and about 90 horsepower. On a flat highway it would do 60 mph at 3,000 RPM. Today I drive a full size Ford Explorer with a 2.3 liter fuel injected four cylinder engine that has 280 horse power and on a flat highway it will do 80 mph at 2,400 RPM.
I'll probably be buying a truck here in a bit, I would totally give up a screen full of shit I shouldn't be staring at on the road for something like that.

I'm down. Don't need a refrigerator that shows pictures on the door.
Would rather have one that lasts more than 3 or 4 years and the icemaker works.
Vehicles with carbureted engines would be a disaster.

My 88 Landcruiser still runs like a beast but that’s also because it’s a Landcruiser and virtually indestructible
