I'll give him both. He was crucial in signing a massive chunk of the difference makers for 2022-23, and a ton of the most-important ones, and also the kind of players he recruited being who they were led to them sticking it out after 4-8 and everything.
I'll also say that he deserves the 4-8 for recommending Jimmy.
It sucks and is crazy Polk is questionable to even make the Patriots roster in his second season. I think it's possible having Penix throwing him the ball so well he didn't even have to get open and then having Odunze and McMillan distract defenses led to him being overrated, but didn't think it could be that bad. I do wonder if there is some mental stuff here as he got the yips in 2023 bad at one point and in general tended to have huge games and then games where he disappeared.
Okay. So, the coach with the best current winning percentage over the past decade is the 18thy best coach on this list? DeBore is much better than that even if he NEVER intended to coach more than 2 years at Warshington.
You can’t have the majority of all your CFB wins come at the D3 level and expect to be near the top 10. 10-6 at Fresno and 9-4 with what 24/7 called the most talented roster in the history of TBS rosters is also underwhelming. Taking Pete’s talent and mixing in your hand picked QB and RBs to almost win a natty is all DeBoer but the sample size is small and no one really knows if he can build a roster yet. Dumping UW for Alabama should help in that respect though.
all but a few of he 2022-23 starters are either Petersen signees or guys from the Class of 2020 he basically brought to the finish line.
Shit two of DeBoer’s best players at Alabama are fucking Jimmy recruits.
He went to the playoff in 2016 and won the conference in 16 and 18 so he also won games. His AD skills of hiring Jimmy were suspect but his coaching wasnt
Like I said, Franklin cries too much and Allar is a frontrunner that folds when the pressure is on. Their window ended last year when they had the pass rusher, the tight end, and got Notre Dame tee'd up for them. Their path will be harder or Franklin/Allar will shit themselves or all of the above.

That's a lot of respect for Peterlips. Some of the only respect I've ever seen in stuff like this for DeBoer.
UW needs to show they can win on this high of a level without Persi'sman. He still deserves a lot of the credit for 2022-23.
He deserves no credit unless you're giving him 4-8

Pete Carroll anywhere lower than #3 is fucking retarded SEC cockgobbling shit.

Tuli, ZTF, Fautanu and Becky London were impactful CP recruits besides for other guys that started in '23
I also don't think Deboer comes to Washington if CP hadn't shown UW to be a program that can make the playoffs

Well, this will fuck with attendance.
We play college football to win the game not the teen stalking title
DeBoer won the games regrardless. And if he doesn't recruit Penix that 4-8 lingers like a Petersen punt on the opponents side of the 40
I wonder what a Haener-led husky squad’s record would’ve been. Not sure if we’d have had him 1 or two seasons🤷♂️🤔🤔

When the next round of conference realignment hits, looking forward to a Greenland dog at the University of Nuuk
Nuuk Stadium, the greatest setting in Greenland.

A conference where the 11th best team is 8-4 is a joke
