Not only does Kafusi not close 4* type players, the under the radar types he's identified and scouted in his career never seem to develop under him nor anyone who coaches them when Kafusi leaves for another job. Cut bait after this season Judd, he's a proven commodity.

He sucks
This is excellent work @theknowledge Give yourself a promotion yesterday!
Over on Dawgman, they are acting like Kafusi is the best recruiter in the country because he was able to beat out UCLA and North Carolins for a borderline 3*/4* lineman by dropping a bag the day before the kid committed.
but, but, but…guys…. 'crooting DTs is really HARD
My favorite over on dawgman is apologist Oregondawg shitting all over the program to defend Kafusi.
"Lesser" schools like us just don't beat bluebloods like UCLA for bluechips. We never have in our history. People who think otherwise are smoking stuff.
UW should be able to be 50/50 with guys, especially if they're not from SoCal. The only time it ever felt like getting a player over UCLA was when Mora really had things rolling there and put together some Top 10 classes. That program has barely even been average for 25+ years now.
You can't expect to recruit toe to toe with the powder blue blood schools.
even @GrandpaSankey can see that this guy is shit
We need Randy Hart back.
Seems like we have another Pease & Strausser situation where down the line we have holes in our roster because the position coach could barely sign warm bodies.
you get it… why is king doog confused?
Don’t worry guys, UW will just get DL and edge players out of the portal! Those guys aren’t rare or expensive, are they? High school players don’t ever stay at their first school anyway. Recruiting and signing high end talent is for doogs.
you forgot to include TE’s
I hate Poopoo as a salesman but he is a pretty good coach/teacher with proven NFL results. I’m hopeful that he can take UWs deep group of 6’5” WTE types and make a bunch of Drew Samples. I think that’s a real possibility and eases my anxiety with his recruiting a bit. Kafusi is horrible. He’s got zero former players he can point to when selling his development, that’s why Milloe has been eating his lunch this cycle. Milloe can point to Gaines, Levi, Tryon, Latu and Vita. Not too bad. Uma-Cais and Shwerzel should be UWs base line as a program, not the ceiling. Neither are top 300 type players but both have pretty high floors. Losing Shwerzel was almost unforgivable. Kafusi’s line couldn’t really stop the run and his edge group was last in the big 10 in sacks. In fact, 7 of their 20 sacks on the season came against Eastern Michigan. Not a good look.

Maybe Walters knows a great DL coach from his time in the Midwest.
mel tucker is ready to work the phones
I’d take Mel Tugger as DL coach in an instant.
OregonDawg used to get so triggered, he would threaten to find and harm other posters. Guy is an actual psycho. Apparently recently he's seen as a 2nd tier authority figure over there - pompous, intolerant and screaming whatever party line Kim says.
