I have been to 49 states, visiting most multiple times. It is pretty obvious which state’s drivers are the best and worst, as both clearly differentiate each other from the rest.
Best: Vermont. They drive fast, never camp in passing lane, and keep in the furthest lane to right unless passing.
Worst: Massachusetts. They are aggressive, but drive slow, and always clog the passing lanes.

I just completed driving to the central California coast and back, equal parts I-5 and 101, both ways. I don’t think I dropped a single f-bomb the entire trip. The worst drivers I’ve ever encountered are in Kitsap county, hands down…FUCK!!!
I haven’t been to your best & worst but for the worst drivers are in Wisconsin. They love doing 73 in a 70 in the passing lane.
I think the worst drivers are right here in Worshington. Cali drivers got places to go and things to see and don't fuck around
Lived in LA for a long time and will easily take the fast crazy driving over what I came back to in Washington. Constantly slow drives penning you in on the freeway and people going 41 in a 50 on highways. Then those same people go 41 through a 25. I don't get it.
Kitsap drivers are the worst at accelerating onto the highway. We're talking 35 - 40 mph until the point of having to actually merge on. I have let the Camaro rip past many of them getting onto Highway 16.
New York are the worst. I just ended up being aggressive too. There's really no other choice. Arizona drivers are retards. 60% of people are transplants. There are the maniacs who cut in and out of traffic, and the 78 year olds who should have had their licenses suspended years ago.
Warshington drivers are actually pretty good.
Texass and California drivers are extremely aggressive, at least on I 10. They think 85 is slow. Central Coast drivers are more chill, I agree, but that's like SB, Lompoc, Santa Maria, SLO..not much of the population.
We have discussed this before. Driftless area Wisconsin are fine. The rest suck, are slow, drunk, but at least they are all stuck in the fast lane going slow so you can pass them quickly in the right lanes. It’s backwards, but works.
Massholes purposely clog the passing lanes and slow lanes simultaneously on two lane highways from Acadia all the way to the interstate. I flipped the bird twice yesterday. First time in many years. Those drivers are worse than Subaru Outback drivers in the PNW x 1,000.
My problem with Wisconsin drivers was them doing 71 in the left land going around a car in the right lane going 70. There was never an option to pass them on the right.
