Read the article. You’re already doing what he’s asking. It says nothing about the government tracking the information … although I assume they already are with the iWatch and other devices.
H didn’t read past the headline again and thought he had a Gotcha. That’s the takeaway here. That H is stupid.
That’s fair. I only read them because most of the time, the article he links refutes whatever point he thinks he’s made by posting it in the first place.
I quit buying beer at Fred Meyer when they started insisting they scan my drivers license rather than just input my birthdate.
I told them I didn’t know why they needed my address, licensing status, driving record, insurance status, vehicles I own and what licensed drivers live at my address just to buy beer.
they didn’t think they did. I told them with their WDL and about 5 minutes I could find out all that stuff.
Back in the college days when I worked at BevMo for a semester we had to ID everyone. They had secret shoppers coming in to make sure you did and you’d get fired
Super awkward when a 60 year old dude got turned down
The same Fred Myers (I like to call them Fred Myers because they're fags) that wants to use facial recognition to change product prices on you as you enter an aisle so that they can predict/guess a higher price that they think your demo will pay for an already overpriced box of bullshit.
I remember a meeting I had with Enterprise Washington probably 10 years back talking about elections data and the amount of stuff they can predict about people just based off of a grocery store account is pretty incredible.
And that’s fine. If I want to give my savers card that’s my choice and I would do so to save money.
But, my savers card is a phone number I haven’t had for about 20 years and no address. Not sure how much of my actual info they’re really getting there.
I use my dead grandma's Montana phone number for Safeway and Albertson's. I rarely go to ghetto Fry's, but my Basha's card seems to work. The less info they have on us, the better.

False outrage?
Didn't read
No federal mandate to wear them and it appears to be a personal decision on tracking your own health based on an awareness campaign.
No wonder H is so upset.
Keep downing those Ozempics, Fatty.
The Throbber wears an Apple watch for tracking -mostly for emergency contact if someone else is not around when I fall off a ladder or something.
But the fuck about wearing a 'tracker' at the government's behast. FUCK THAT.
My wrist, my choice.

The Throbber never reads the Dazzler msnbc.com links.

It’s consistent.

I rock the fitbit on the ankle
Girls think I'm a bad boy with an ankle monitor
But I let them know I'm all about the steps.
They don't want you information they just want to make sure the ID is legit

Fuck. Those. Guys.
They scan the DL's and it keeps it…
Then look at it and type it in. No need for all the extra info.
But yea. I’m sure they don’t use it for any reason.
Yeah, and they totally don't build a database on you with your savers card.
Lol.
