It better not mean boots on the ground.
Trump is precariously close to alienating a decent percentage of his base. Campaigning on ending the endless wars and then stepping straight into Iran with troops would be the end of his credibility.
The Throbber is willing to say LIFPO but with some reluctance.

My advice always is LIPO and there’s no sense in worrying about things that might or might not happen. Wasted energy and it’s exhausting. Look at the TugTards. They worry nonstop, work themselves into a frenzy over hypothetical or nothingburgers, and then have a meltdown after it fizzles out and leave the board for a few days to regroup. SoccerFag is the latest example of this pattern.
They return soon enough and repeat the same cycle. These are the people who thought Trump 2.0 was over because of a Signal chat. It’s hilarious how fragile these ladies present themselves to others.

Excellent poast @Swaye . Would only add that no sane person wants a nuclear armed Iran, they simply could not be allowed to complete their nuclear ambitions. Thank real god we have a president with ballz who put in place a staff with ballz. The world is a much safer place right now, and I would argue that the impact of this move goes way beyond Iran. Our ability to globally project power has again been shown to be unrivaled, and the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism has been neutered.
With that, this seems appropriate.

Friend since high school was a Marine aviator. Flew Harriers in the gulf war. Based 350 miles closer to the action than any coalition aircraft. He did some serious shit including the highway of death, scud hunting and others I won't mention. They flew their Harriers to the Gulf in two days and a crap load of air to air refueling.

Or what? Where's the "no war! no war!" crowd going now? Setting aside Trump's ability to run again (age, size, constitution), the magic of Trump is that his base isn't as hollow-hearted as that of the typical politician. Think card carrying liberal and Obama. They don't just break up with you. Even the intellectual portion of his base is going to soon shut up and fall in line. He's their guy. They have nowhere else to go.
