Apparently he has an older brother who's also in the 2025 recruiting class. I have a hard time believing he'll do anything as a true freshman, but it gets him NIL money a year earlier and if he pans out he's one year closer to an NFL paycheck.
I wonder if reclassifying will become more common now that NIL paydays are out there?
his dad was the USC starting rb in the mid 90s on those Keyshawn Johnson teams. May just be he and his brother both want to go to dad’s school together asap.
Have any of you fucks looked at USC's schedule like I finally did 5 minutes ago? I'm not Lincoln lover but there's a good chance they get a win over an overrated Top 10 Illinois team in September and go into South Bend 6-0. Win or lose there the only game left on the schedule they shouldn't win is at Oregon in late-November. Things set up well enough to not tank their class if Linc doesn't fuck the dog or leave.
For the Dook lovers what's your pitch for the SoCal guys who most of their commits are? You've legit been abysmal for a long time at getting your SoCal recruits to not just portal out, let alone make the NFL and your most-recent examples are mostly guys who were probably underdeveloped.
Yeah it won't take a huge effort from Lincoln to have a good season at USC, even if his team is just alright. I don't think Notre Dame is an automatic loss either. The Irish are like a rich man's ASU from the Pac where I feel like they're usually bad when they're supposed to be good and good when they're supposed to be bad.
Lincoln's gonna get things rolling with a win over a grossly overrated Illini and Cowherd's v-neck is gonna be so deep it's gonna blind everyone.
Illinois could be challenging on the road but USC should have a talent advantage so I’m calling that a toss up but I also agree that Illinois hasn’t done a lot to inspire a ton of confidence.
I think ND wins because Touchdown Jesus is watching.
Oregon wins because it’s early November and getting cold and rainy.
The way Riley lost so many close games to mid teams and then blamed his quarterback at the end of the season, he doesn't deserve the benefit of an easy schedule right now.
Agree that like last year he will skyrocket into the national conversation at some point this season. He just usually follows that up with a bunch of terrible coaching/management.
To continue to play Devil's Eklund here, I don't expect big things from Lincoln I just think their schedule could easily set them up with a season for them/Lincoln to keep things in line to go 7-5 next year. Has Iowa ever won a game outside of the central time zone?
I don't really even know who is on their roster and they seem like they're JAGy at QB again somehow. Wonder if they were the "Big 10" team offering way too much for Ewers.
I still think Cowherd at some point busts out a sick deep V like it's 2010.
Iowa’s qb is better than usc’s imho. He was Up there with the Montana state qb for best in fcs last year. I think Iowa surprises a lot of people this year.

Thanks Taft!
Why do I have the feeling that USC's entire class will collapse this fall?
Yes, the Ducks lingering on this board really agree. Kimstrodamus once told of a Year of the Decommit. It soon shall be upon us.
Because it will when Riley has yet another underwhelming season.

That’s a very friendly looking schedule

notre dame is going to steamroll them

they’ll lose one of @neb and v Iowa, too. There’s a reason Vegas has them at 7.5 wins

Better record this year, USC or UW?
Hate to say it but probably USC
A couple weeks back Petros was roasting Riley and SC for wanting out of playing ND every year. Jen got her guy, thanks again SC!
