The subject was state taxes, Gasbag. I pay tens of thousands less in state taxes in Washington than I would if, for example, I lived in your right-wing nirvana of Idaho. Washington is a low tax environment for those with high incomes. If you claim otherwise, your argument is with arithmetic. Washington lets the Race Bannons of the world pay a much higher percentage of their incomes in taxes and fees because we won't enact an income tax. That's regressive to people who speak English and know money is fungible.

So what we have here is a Democrat making fun of poor people to argue for a 9 billion dollar tax hike and he wants an income tax and no tax cuts or spending cuts. Why won't the GOP go along guys?

I was including property taxes, which are governed by state law regardless of who assesses and collects them. How pray tell would the "dodge" you were accusing me of even work? Idaho has a property tax. A sales tax too, for that matter.

Now do that over and over again for things like license tabs, hunting and fishing licenses, gas tax, B&O/excise tax on and on.
Bullshit on paying tens of thousands of dollars less in 'state' taxes.
Add on a minimum wage that is massively inflated in Washington over Idaho- you're paying alright. You're paying left and right and up and down.
