This dipstick is insecure and like a majority of zeros seeking approval from Washington. The visor comment made me laugh which blob never did once. 🍻=hey bobby
Sad to admit I once bought a Husky visor and occasionally wore it.
This is a big year for Landman. The table was set well for him when he got to Eugene and things set up well for 2024. He's gonna have to regroup a little bit this year and prove some things though and without a veteran QB who is battle tested. 2024 was also a golden opportunity for Landman with a weak field and he finished it by getting ass blasted and is now facing what appears to a tougher battle in TBSing and probably more pressure from Uncle Phil and co. He looked day drunk in that video.
It's awfully warm for May and I'm not ready to completely point and laugh at their recruiting yet. They've seemed to like to close well in recent years, but certainly seems like something is currently up.
Oregon is going to finish miles ahead of UW in recruiting and probably finish ahead of usc, too. Recruiting is the least of the program’s worries. Teams open up the checkbook at different times. If you’ve paid attention since malchow got to Oregon, Oregon is one of the last teams to make actual $ offers, which is why they always close strongest. Gives usc fans a ton of false hope in may, though (again).
the current roster is good, but inexperienced, so there aren’t many expectations this year—so not sure where you’re getting the “this is a big year for landman”. Probably a 9-3 or 10-2 season. 2026 is when the roster will be primed to make another serious run, again.
but like you and others have said, with tosh as dc the program is a semifinal or title game loser, at its peak. Eventually in the playoff tosh will run into an OC who can absolutely shred his (limited) abilities as DC. The rose bowl was over on the opening play where chip drew up a 40 yard wheel route to a wide open gee fucking Scott.
I meant to say would be a big proving it year if he can have another big year. I don't give half a shit about this Malchow character. You sound insecure.
I’m insecure because I’m realistic about the program’s capped ceiling because of an inexplicable decision to keep a bottom 10% DC in cfb on staff? Or because I don’t care about recruiting on June 1st?
if Dan ever grows a pair and makes a Walters-type hire at DC, then Oregon will have a shot at winning it all. Until then, it’s just quooks yucking it up on twitter about going 11-1 vs big ten dreck before getting snowplowed by a osu/uga/bama in the playoff.
I’d honestly take 90% of active p4 DCs over tosh. Oregon has enough recruiters on staff and like wooley mentioned, does tosh’s specialty (recruiting) even matter much anymore In the age of NIL?
I'm not talking about the capped ceiling and the Tosh stuff. I mostly agree with that. It's the TBS stuff and a whole lot of absolutes being thrown out. You're popping up on any shred of mention of USC TBSing with a lot of absolutes and throwing out DTD-sounding descriptions of stuff and talking about Malchow, who does appear to be eatin right like Dan so good for him. A lot of this shit seems maybe right but this time of year does feel at least somewhat different. We'll see.
At the very least, with UW, any year since Peterman's last year Greene and Colman-Brusa probably already cancelled their courtesy visit's to UW and committed to Oregon or someone like Ohio State. The last two times UW signed the instate guys like that (ASJ/Kasen year and Budda/McGary year) it led to the program having their shit together for once a bit and going on upticks.
I'm curious what happens with Judd and the recruiting if UW wins somewhere between 6-8 games though, which is very possible.
USC is easy to take shots at because their online fanbase rivals only Oregon and Aggie in terms of stupidity/unrealistic expectations and this exact same thing happened literally just last year. They’ll probably keep a few more kids this year because more of them are from socal (last year they were inexplicably from the southeast), but it will fall apart, again, unless Riley can go 10-2 or better.
They’ll always have those special spring months where they paid a ton of money to kids to get hayes fawcett/pickell/pate tweeting “👀👀👀👀” though. They’ve replaced Mario-era Oregon as the offseason champs/hype kings. Once the games are played, not so much.
Comments
I'm stunned.
Trumps China tariffs broke Oregon.
*Faggies
I fucking called it and you twats gave me a bunch of downvotes!!! lulz
To be fair, DTD, the kid's dad did an interview like 20 minutes later saying he wasn't supposed to commit and it wasn't figured out yet.

"Stop this faggy madness"
Exactly, dude was never a commit. That's the whole point.
Doesn’t that make it even worse for Thunder Dan?🤔
Yes. Yes, it does, DTD.

Bottom 10%?
He's not THAT bad. Both coordinators have kind of shit themselves at roughly the same times which is why the 20-3 and 34-0 leads happened at all.

He's definitely underwhelming in big games, just not sure that anyone in the conference including Oregon thinks he's that bad.
Saban already had a similar situation and ditched Tosh as DC to the Browns.

SC is the weirdest fanbase now. Terrible showing in Seattle this year.
You'd never know that they're a blue blood.
