If you're going to bash Pac-12 refs, I'm out. Anyway, it seems that they haven't been calling these in the endzone. Shaq did it against Stanford and he gave a salute after scoring a TD against Cal. I thought he would get penalized after each one, but they didn't throw the flag.
I think the fact that Washington did his celebration in the middle of the field had a lot to do with drawing the flag. I think it's stupid. Let the damn kids have some damn fun. He wasn't taunting an opposing player or the opponents' sideline. -
I agree - I actually think that Washington left the officials no choice but to throw the flag in his bowing incident. Still, I have to laugh at his tweet

Thank you early 90's Miami Hurricanes. I loved their antics, but after they started, the PC police began ruining football.

The play happened around the 30 and Washington ran out to the middle of the field to single himself out. Still an incredibly fucktarded move to penalize these guys at all, unless their antics reach TO levels of self-promotion.
