Woolley has a brilliant thesis that n local recruits, how they more often than not develop when they stay home vs becoming JAGs at out of state schools. In recent weeks this theory caused a local 5 star OL to flip from Oregon to UW, and now a rival site is trying to pass off the theory as their own. I couldn’t stand for the injustice

Interestingly enough, this theory only applies to football. Basketball is totally opposite. They all leave and make it to the NBA.

Basketball is just a completely different beast in a lot of ways, including that UW doesn't have a program that was a borderline Top 10 one nationally from the 1900s to 2000s.
