Thanks Taft!

Got rid of Geno to get Geno with no NFL experience
4D chess

Good pick, imo.

Gino sucks but every high qb pick by the Jets do. Good pick up for the raiders to get a little stability at the position. Gino now has Jeanty and the former GA te phenom Bowers.
And Gino is definitely a better qb than Milroe but he wasn’t selected to start.

More unneeded, overrated SEC trash

He has an elite skill as a QB. Granted, it's not throwing. But he's worth a chance to develop as a 3rd round pick. If he develops you're looking at a more badass version of Lamar Jackson.
-
While I'm not excited about it, I'm not down on it either. I don't see him as comparable to Geno.
-
no way he has a ceiling even close to Lamar because he’s developed way more as a passer than most even imagined plus he didn’t run at the combine due to the chatter he could play wr. Although imo he did himself a disservice not running because he probably moves up a few spots in the draft. He’s lucky he was picked by a very strong organization and not a team like the jets.

He can run as fast and is more of a physical specimen. Obviously, the most important parts of playing QB are decision making and accuracy, which he has a ways to go there. But IF he's developed over a couple of seasons behind Darnold he could end up being very good. The guy is an athletic freak. Probably the highest ceiling QB in the draft.

He will become the greatest wildcat QB, the NFL has ever seen!
He will struggle to throw for a 60% completion rate.
If he can improve that rate, he has a chance to become a long-term starter.
He has a very good deep ball. -
Milroe ran a 4.37 40 at Bama Pro Day.
-
I think it's a good pickup because he will have year 1 value as a gizmo package guy, Taysom Hill, etc.
He's physically at the top of the heap in NFL terms and still hasn't hit his ceiling.
-
The NFL is 100% about accuracy hitting dink and dunk routes at the QB position, so I love this pick for my haWks.

This
The issue with Geno wasn't a lack of talent. It was the inability to make the throw when needed to keep a drive alive or get 7 instead of 3

The same was said about Josh Allen.
