#2 and #33 were retired at UW for mega old timey guys up until not that recently. I think there were actually stories that Nate Robinson wanted 2 but couldn't wear it. The best Husky comparison to retiring Shedder's at CU to me is if we retired Brock's.

Shedeuer > > > Brock
I'm not sure that's even close.

You sure about that?

I’d say Locker. Rebounded a dormant program to a mid tier bowl game and was drafted 8th overall. In no way shape or form should Locker or Sanders be retired. There should probably be a moratorium on retiring anyone’s number at CU until Deion Figures is immortalized. That dude won big, won every post season award for his position, first team AA and was a first round draft choice. If he’s not in the rafters no one should be. I could give a pass to Hunter, he was truly amazing last year. The dude can smoke weed and talk shit at CU forever.

Yes. Sanders was a better college QB than Brock and will likely be a better pro. The kid can throw. He's proven it.
Sanders has also been absolutely pummeled during his time in Boulder and still made plays. -
Locker is actually a very good comp. Locker is a much better athlete but Shedder is a better passer so it kind of balances out. The program kind of crumbled around Brock.

Who knows what might've happened if Brock didn't develop shell shock early on and never get over it. His shining moment was coming in and dropping some dimes in that ASU game, which I think was his first game action.
As it was, though, I have to agree. Sanders got chased and pummeled and kept stepping up and making big throws in the games I saw. He was pretty easy to hate for me since I wanted them to lose.

this would be the same as retiring Locker before he was even drafted.

No, Damon
