Was never hard. Use the TV contracts and the athletic department funding for players we are starting next year to make base salaries for all players by conference. Any legitimate advertisements and endorsements are fine, just have to be approved by a governing board. Beyond that, fuck off. I also wonder if we are starting to see some spender fatigue now that we've had a couple years of this shit. Even if you are a billionaire I can't think of many things less satisfying than spending a shit ton of money on college players and only one team is going to win a national championship every year and the vast majority of the big spenders have sky high expectations so they're left disappointed.
Even as much as I hate Crisco I'm sure he doesn't like the setup but when you're either school #1 or #2 who is just out there spending insane amounts to buy a contender team by raiding from programs like the Coug and Beav you don't have much of a soapbox.
Nobody programs with uber rich donors such as Texas Tech won't be slowing down. At all. This is their chance.
