and so it begins...

He's a fake guy, right?
I'mma leave a school that pays $2.4 million for a school that pays $4 million is the joke?
-
Late but the guy who is attempting to outspend to create a portal all star team every year can kindly shut the fuck up.
-
It is so funny to hear this shit from schools like Tennessee, Miami, etc.
But this is the correction that probably has to happen if there aren't proper rules. The spenders just quietly blackball this kid and what are you going to do, sue them? 200 yards per game, 100 yards in the playoff game that he thinks should have doubled his pay.
-
I also wonder if we are starting to see some spender fatigue now that we've had a couple years of this shit. Even if you are a billionaire I can't think of many things less satisfying than spending a shit ton of money on college players and only one team is going to win a national championship every year and the vast majority of the big spenders have sky high expectations so they're left disappointed.
Even as much as I hate Crisco I'm sure he doesn't like the setup but when you're either school #1 or #2 who is just out there spending insane amounts to buy a contender team by raiding from programs like the Coug and Beav you don't have much of a soapbox.
-
Nobody programs with uber rich donors such as Texas Tech won't be slowing down. At all. This is their chance.
-
This is fair but I think might cycle in and out pretender programs willing to overspending. Remember when A&M was buying #1 recruiting classes?

Basically, the reasoning is this:
If you can get a kid to fuck the team that recruited him out of high school for money, that's just the game.
If that kid then fucks the team that fucked the team that recruited him out of high school, that's immoral and we won't participate in that ruination of the game we love so much.
So, yeah, stupid.
-
Well, the Syracuse coach said out loud what we all knew. If you aren't Travis Hunter you aren't getting millions. If you are Travis Hunter, you are getting a million+ from the head coach's own salary if need be.
