I got connected to a guy who runs all kinds of sports pools and he’s put one together for the Masters.
Here are the rules:
* $20 entry fee, 1 per person - see below for payment options
* You will create a team of 6 golfers you think will finish atop the leaderboard on Sunday. The teams that earn the most prize money at the tournament will win.
* Players are divided into groups and you will select the following:
- 1 player from Group A
- 1 player from Group B
- 1 player from Group C
- 3 players from Group D
* You will not be able to replace any of your players if they miss the cut.
* Make the Cut Bonus: If all 6 of your players make the cut, your team will receive a bonus of $500,000 added to your team's prize money.
* It is your responsibility to ensure that all players you select are participating in the tournament.
* The Masters starts next week Thursday, April 10th. Please fill out your rosters by the night of Wednesday, April 9th.
* Payouts will be determined once we know the total number of entries.

If any of you heathens are interested in joining the pool, let me know via DM and I’ll get you connected. This guys sports pools make games much more interesting.
Is this one of those Amway type of schemes? You bring degenerate gamblers to this guy and he rewards you with steaming vats of nacho cheese sauce?
Maybe
I brought up doing a HH Masters pool and got crickets. I always do one with my friends through the Masters app. The format of this one is intriguing.
The guy who runs this does some great NFL pools throughout the season and during the playoffs. He did one during the NCAA tournament and probably a few others for other sports.
I don’t like traditional gambling and refuse to participate in any betting apps. I also gave up fantasy football after the 23 season and the regular season pools have been a nice low investment replacement to keep games interesting on Sundays.
I started playing fantasy football in 6th grade calculating points with my best friend over a landline looking at newspapers. Fuck, that makes me feel old. I stopped a few years ago. I played fantasy baseball for about 15 years too, that shit got exhausting.
My first season of fantasy football was 1991. My 2 cousins and I played. We had no idea what we were doing.
Played again in 94. Had to turn in rosters before the end of the work day and then await your score from the commish on Tuesday.
I have no idea who’s going to win. If I had to bet, I’d take Scottie, but he hasn’t played very well this year. Schauffele is struggling. Dechambeau blew a lead Sunday and hasn’t won a LIV event this year. As well as Rory has played, I don’t trust him to get it done in a major, especially one to complete the career grand slam. Who knows, this could be the year someone kinda comes out of nowhere and steals one unless one of the favorites puts it together.
Maybe Brooks gets number 6. Just have feeling
I could see Koepka or Rahm getting another one. None of the top guys are really in great form except Rory. Rahm hasn’t won yet, but he’s finished top 10 in every LIV event so far. I could also see someone like Cam Smith or one of the younger guys who hasn’t won a major yet breaking through. It’s shaping up to be an interesting week, but Scottie will probably put it together and win by 8 and Sunday will be a snoozer.
My darkhorse bets are Zalatoris and Cam Smith both at 50/1 and Akshay at 80/1. Augusta is really good for lefties.
Also eyeing Hovland at 33/1. Could totally flame out but could also win if he gets hot.
If Smith gets in contention I'll help him out by picking against him. Looking through the pre tourney betting takes Brooks is rarely mentioned, Bryson seems very comfortable. And Hovland is on a roll in the media tent
