People shit on the NBA game when really it's just that the rules suck, like hand checking and the fs "gathering steps" shit that looks like traveling to the average fan.
Seeing how long these guys are in person and how they can hit any shot and make any pass at that size and length is still incredible.
"Jacking up 3's constantly" well yeah but those are fucking hard to hit with some massive praying mantis arm in your face.
There's nothing interesting about watching guys who are 6' 10" camping behind the three point line. The rules and analytics have ruined the game. The players not giving a crap about the regular season is also a cultural problem for the league at this point.
Well, after the Maryland Colorado State game they did come out and address it/explain it for like 10 minutes, it was put in to placate to the euros, and it just looks bad.
But I don't think that guys just camp out behind the 3 and don't want to play defense. Not good teams anyways. And guys can just hit ridiculous shots regularly now.
Ugh, I get free tickets where I sit about 15 rows from the court, against teams like Milwaukee, Boston, and Denver so far this year? And that's just when the team is bad.
Playoffs in Portland is pretty fun since it's a one sport town. I even sat courtside for one of Isaiah Thomas' last regular season games before he fucked himself up permanently in the playoffs shortly after.
I've seen DeJounte Murray a bunch of times, same with Isaiah Stewart. Obviously Thybulle plays for Portland even though he's been hurt this year.
Oh yeah, my team exists too. That's always a plus.

Bring back the hand check.
NCAA games are more physical than the NBA games right now. Houston just mugs people and it is glorious.
And fuck load management. Mike never sat out games except when he went into baeball exile
It looks like traveling because it is traveling
Yeah it's pretty much that nobody grew up playing by those kinds of rules.
Everyone else shoplifts so who cares? No big deal.

I appreciate your attempt to sell the NBA as good. The ratings say otherwise.
