And so it begins....

Wow.
get ready for an onslaught against him from the MSM. Huge implications in advertising revenue. Not only the loss of those dollars but now other corps don’t need to compete with Pfizer for ad blocks which will drive down the price on space. -
This needs to happen. I'm so tired of 65% of commercials being from big pharma. They need to be reigned in on every front.
-
This is fantastic. A first step to judging drugs based on their efficacy rather than their popularity
-
he should ask his doctor if that’s right for him first.
-
Cheaper ads would be deflationary to the economy.
-
sexual side effects may include decreased libido, difficulty achieving orgasm, and erectile dysfunction.
-
Preemptive “RFK Jr did not kill himself”
-
The doctor Obama said I could keep?
. -
of course!
-
No Pawz, that was insurance BO said you could keep.
No wait………. he said we could keep both our doctors and our insurance!
What a fucking liar that asshole is.
I have no problem with big pharma not advertising anywhere other than the internet, trade associations, conventions or by mail. It is a joke when you think about it. They make claims and then there is a really fast-talking guy who give you a long laundry list of how this new drug can hurt or kill you. That is for doctors to tell patients not the drug company. Self-prescribing or self-diagnosing through Web MD is not a good idea.
-
Except for the mRNA jab. No mention at all of side effects, just lies about efficacy. A minute long Ozempic ad has as much about risks and adverse events as happy dancing diabetics and weight loss.
-
clearly @Goduckies didn’t keep his doctor
-
nope I got screwed back in the day
-
Those commercials are the only thing keeping the lights on for msm.
-
I've always wondered who their base is for those.... doctors already know about it... is it people at home begging the doctors for it.... has to be a pita if it is the wrong drug....
And then the side effects lol
-
Media capture. Nothing else makes sense business wise.
-
100% it's an above board bag for good publicity and a blind eye.
-
does that mean I can stop seeing that fucking skyrizi commercial lol
-
I like seeing all the people for wegoza that are only 40 lbs over weight but the commercial implying they used to be even fatter.
-
In addition to media capture, it’s an expense that gets rolled into the pricing. It’s all recovered on the backend through higher prices, the media capture is basically free in the end.
-
Somewhat related, State Farm made a multi-million dollar “Bateman” commercial and I’m supposed to then believe they are giving me good monthly rates and excellent coverage in an accident.
Their advertising budget has to rival Big Pharma’s by now.
-
For sure. Insurance, cars, pharma and shitty food is basically all that is left. At least with the others there’s an argument for awareness and new products. Conversations with marketing/advertising agencies are always so fun and dumb. Lots of theoretical benefits discussed. Advertising is more of a cover your ass spending plan, if your new product launch fails and you didn’t spend x$ on media like the agency recommended you get canned.
