1. Strong border is fine. Entire green card/citizenship process needs to be better funded and streamlined. Mass deportation/imprisonment without due process is not fine and leads to errors, ripping families apart and lawsuits.
2. Not acceptable but the DOGE process is retarded. Unelected mega billionaires with their own partisan political and personal agendas aren’t the right people to do it. Work together with both sides, approve it through Congress, or fuck off. Costing thousands of middle class Americans their jobs because of assumptions they are just taking up space is the dumbest bullshit and it is fucking with the lives of people who are just trying to get by on the career paths they chose.
   
3. nobody wants endless war. Also nobody wants to see allies get invaded for territorial grabs and the invading nation allowed to proceed with impunity. A professional working relationship with Russia can be achieved. But they cannot be trusted and never will be as long as Putin is in power. You think that supporting Ukraine means supporting endless war. Not in the slightest. Nobody was asking for war until Russia decided to start one.
4. The trans “agenda” isn’t a thing, nor is it being taught as curriculum. Gender identity is a hot topic across social media primarily just like being gay became a hot topic in the news across last century, so school children are aware of it and ask questions. Times have changed. MAGA uses it more as an agenda than the gays do. They use gays and drag queens as a dog whistle to point the finger of blame as a distraction. I’m neither gay nor trans and no one in my family is, but they don’t affect my life either and never have. And they shouldn’t affect yours either. You just want to be angry at them because you were told to be. Personally I think all transitions should wait until 18. But keeping them out of the military is completely stupid. I actually do have a couple trans military friends who are decorated veterans and served or are serving honorably. Their body choices aren’t affecting anyone. As far as sports goes, it needs more research to see what, if any, competitive advantages there may be for trans women in women’s sports. Instead of knee jerk reactions. If it is a proven fact that on the whole they will have competitive advantages, then we can talk about it. IMO, there isn’t enough data on it. Only a bunch of mud slinging.
5. inflation isn’t acceptable. But burdening the American consumer with tariff costs while pissing off all of our allies, while the cost of living is already through the roof and everyone is priced out of a home, is stupid. I don’t see either side addressing that one.
