I stop by the Taco Time by my work 3 or 4 times a month for lunch. Ordered Mexi Fries and one time the guy read back my order and called them Tater fries, which is their new gay name for them.
On the other hand, if you owned a business and one of your employees was saying that a large segment of the population is not welcome in your business, you wouldn't sit still and do nothing
If I found out about it I would pull that person aside and there would be some kind of "either you take it down or you can't work here" and she gives you attitude at all then you cut bait at that point. "So you don't want to serve a large % of our clients so I can't employ you here anymore" should have been the natural cause and effect after she undoubtedly gives some whiny fucking response.
We? had someone disparage us on his social media account and he still kept his job and he's still a giant retard to this day that doesn't deserve to work here, so I'm just a little dead inside on the whole topic of just axing dumbshits that do dumb stuff privately.
We have had no real issues with moronic social media postings.
I did hear that one of our junior associates had some fairly work-inappropriate photos on her IG a few years ago but nothing close to actionable from an HR perspective.
She still works for us in the same role. Not a real professional climber and I’m sure we’ll lose her as soon as she marries strategically.
