the only real chance they have is for someone to take the reins and turn it into something completely different. Right now it’s the black, gay, and fat chick party
Not a chance. The economy and American tax payer is fickle. Trump has 2 years to turn this thing around, kill the corrupt and hidden spending of a trillion on left wing bullshit, keep interest rates low, keep taxes lower and cut spending. If the economy doesn't perk, it doesn't matter who is in office, the other party will succeed. Its the nature of politics.
In the 1850s the US was faced with the big issue of slavery. The dems were solidly for slavery and expansion of slavery as the US expanded westward. The Whigs were ambivalent about the issue. The Republicans were solidly in favor of ending slavery. So, the Northern states with a population largely in favor of ending slavery went with the party that resonated.
In 1992 the Republican ran tax raiser HW Bush for a second term. Soft on almost everything including the border and spending. Bush arguably lost the election because of H Ross Perot who got 19% of the popular vote. The dems were lost in the wilderness running hard left dems against popular Reagan. Clinton was a member of the New Democrats who ran as a moderate. Welfare reform, middle class tax cuts, support of the death penalty and tougher on the border than Bush. Clinton won and was clearly more moderate than the left wing of the party.
In the UK, the conservative party went increasing left and Boris Johnson and his successor were embarrassed by Brexit, were soft on immigration and openly supporting the green economic disaster. They badly lost the last election to the Labour party which is hard left and today is very unpopular because, big surprise their policies are an economic disaster. The Conservative Party is losing out to the new "far right" Reform party which wants the green disaster scrapped and the UK border secured.
So, today, we have an isolated dem party which is on the wrong side of all the 80-20 issues. Instead of starting a new party, Trump succeeded in taking over the Republican party. I don't see any moderate dem taking over the dem party. There is no young bubba on the horizon. Certainly not a moderate dem governor who could win a deep Southern primary. Look at the dems on the Tug. None of them are capable of clearly supporting any of the 80-20 issues. Supporting open borders, men in women's sports and bathrooms, sexually mutilating kids, fighting against the massive fraud and waste in government and supporting US oil and gas production. As long as the Republicans have those issues what would a new dem replacement party look like?
I thought it would be useful to objectively lay out what the current platform is of the Democrat Party, based on their own words and actions. Their platform currently stands on ten tenets:
Resist all efforts to reduce the size, scope and power of the unelected federal bureaucracy.
Resist all efforts to cut off the flow of tax dollars to NGOs.
Support an endless, unwinnable war in Ukraine with the taxpayers' dollars.
Undermine Israel’s efforts to end Hamas, an entity chartered to destroy Israel and murder all of its Jewish population.
Claim that it is a scientific principle that a man becomes a woman because he says so. Literally every institution, person and business entity must agree with this or face severe penalties.
Support illegal immigrants staying in the USA indefinitely, with benefits paid for by the taxpayers.
Oppose the deportation of non-citizens living in the USA who violently call for, among other things, the destruction of Israel and the US government.
Cripple our economy based on a specious and unproven theory of “manmade climate change.”
Eliminate the Second Amendment.
Destroy Elon Musk.
That’s their platform folks. It truly is. These ten things are literally all that the Democrat Party stands for in 2025.
After numerous attempts to get the Tug leftards to prioritize their policies is all that I get is Orange Man Bad. The lie and tell us that they have discussed policy many times but their discussion is that "nothing can be done". To this well-done list I would add DEI: that hiring should be based on skin color and espoused sex or sexual preference along with men make the best women and sexual mutilation is best done while under age.
Newsome is at least reading the tea leaves and attempting. He's getting pilloried by the dems for it severely. He's also not convincing anyone outside of California he's a moderate.
Fetterman is going to end up as a republican because he says basic realities and then gets vilified for breaking ranks. Where have we seen that before?
This party is owned ideologically by the far left and is full steam ahead as they out compete one another for ideological purity because there are no principles on which it stands to oppose them.
Ben from Ben and Jerry’s wouldn’t even commit to an “Orange Man Bad” sherbet flavor on Patrick Bet-David because it would upset part of his Leftist consumers for even insinuating it was Trump.
I’m a bit surprised Trump hasn’t trademarked that term. Maybe I should.

Government shutdowns are good now and lifelong liar Chuck Schumer calling Elon Musk a liar seems to be the message today from Democrats.
That’s their plan.
You girls have the majority. Go ahead. Govern.
We are. I am asking my reps for bills banning retarded lawyers from internet posting. HTH
Did you know the plural of bill isn't bill's, Einstein?
Certainly but auto spell thinks otherwise. I also don't give two shits.

With this winning platform the skies are blue

Newsom is one of the lizard people. He’ll say whatever he needs to say to get what he wants. With a smile.
