Throwing out government GDP growth from deficit spending, we’ve most likely been in a recession for over a year.
H thinks the taxpayer base GDP shrinking while government/taxspender GDP is growing is just good economics.

Biden redefined what a recession means in terms of 2 straight quarters of negative GDP, but I assume those old markers are back since a Republican is President and it the progressive Propaganda media will forget all about covering for Biden’s recession.
We've been in a recession for at least a year. Probably two for some industries.
Leftists are trying to act like the signs that come out of Vegas, shipping/fulfillment, other consumer spending are a brand new thing just after Trump took office.

The Atlanta Federal Reserve on Monday produced a new projection that the American economy would shrink by nearly three percent in the first quarter of President Donald Trump's second term.
Specifically, the Atlanta Fed now projects that the economy will shrink by 2.8 percent in Q1 2025, which actually marks a deterioration from the projection it made last week that the economy would shrink by 1.5 percent on the quarter.

If that decrease is largely because of the federal government’s deficit spending to boost growth numbers being eliminated, that’s great news. Almost a month of this is as Biden was torching the White House in his last days.
