This is nuts. They were dead for some time. No active gas leak, front door was open...

Hackman found dead in mudroom, signs of a fall.

Wife found dead in bathroom surrounded by pills.

Dog found dead in bathroom closet near wife.

My new possible working theory: Dog tripped Hackman, killing him. Wife took it out on the dog, then swallowed the pill bottle.

There's some dark tragedy at play here, yeesh
