The tour has always had two types of events even before they started calling some signature events. The Mexico Open is a chance for journeymen to get points and money and one in particular to change his life. Its the human drama of athletic competition and plenty of choking
It is also only of interest to nerds like me. The shortest player on tour beat the longest player on tour, the 20 year old next big thing who looks like John Daly and hails from South Africa. They played side by side about 60 yards apart
Potgieter folded at Torrey Pines as well in the 4th round but he's just a kid. Youngest winner ever on the Korn tour
Getting to the meat of the season now as the tour hits Florida. Flat boring courses but the big boys come out to play
