The reality is, the GOP needs to be a bit more like the democrats when it comes to these nominations. I appreciate the fact that there is individuality in the GOP, that people can express their opinions and not worry about being killed by a nancy pelosi or schumer, but there are times that they have to have a united front. The cabinet is one of them.

Needless to say both of these incompetents got no negative dem votes. So, dems vote in lockstep with their president on nominations and the republican RINOs only vote for Trump's "controversial" nominees because they are scared shitless of getting primaried. Republicans will largely respect the dem President's right to get his own people in there. Dems are voting lockstep against Trump appointments that support Trump's agenda. Bend is 100% right.
