84. 10 years before your program had it's first season in the bigs.
-
1960 Ole Miss probably has a claim to the title as well.
1984 Undefeated BYU is the only real debate so anyone wants to argue do you think it's BYU or UW. Pick one.
An Oregon title claim this year woudl be like if there was a playoff in 2000 and UW had to play Miami again in the first round and got throttled. Laughable.
It's made even better by Texas and Notre Dame giving Ohio State much better games when it counted. The debate might be if Tennessee actually played tougher in Columbus than the boys the fancy uniforms in Pasadena.
-
pour and stupid.
Here you are on a Husky website seeking approval from big brother.
Integrity? Laughable when a corporation runs and funds your entire athletic department while trying to buy an actual championship. Uncle Fill is so cringe the NBA owners don’t want him to own the Blazers. Most of my life Oregon was a speed bump until they invented football.
We got jobbed in 84, I won’t explain since you’re not college educated. Oregan will NEVER win a crystal football trophy, EVER.

You might like the Refuge
No personal attacks there
-
If we were UW we’d literally hang the banner 40 years from now.
-
"If we were UW" is something that we already know runs through your heads 24-7-365 for the past 100 years at least.

You seem to care a great deal about 1960? I could care less about the 1960 National Championship sign in Husky Stadium. UWs not alone in claiming multiple Championships and there is no dispute a half natty is greater than ZERO.
I remember Duck fans crying about 91 because there wasn’t a 2 team playoff when Auburn kicked your ass. Nike university had to actually win it on the field. I guess that narrative ended once Washington played in the final 4 twice like you guys.
-
You lost. On the field. On television. Badly.
-
Take it up with Wolfe
-
Actually Oregon should definitely HTB you're right
-
A lot of talk about Oregon not winning a Natty here
What about major bowel wins? Overall record? Loudest Stadium?Let’s mix it up fellas
-
That’s two polls now…Two banners? WWUWD?
-
UW would win the last game
Hope this helps
-
Your criteria is inconsequential.
-
To a duck yeah
-
To everyone actually
Including Wolfe and the UW twins
-
Not me so not everyone
-
Inconsequential, like we said.
-
Isn't it the offseason?
-
-
I decide when it’s the off-season.
-
If people had this kind of decorum the Refuge might have lived

As long as we're going back and claiming natties based on various rationalizations, I think I might be able to grab a few for the Canes. I'm going with the "I don't care what happened during the season, who was the best team in the country at the end of it?" criterion. On that basis, I'm claiming 1988, 1990 and 2000; nobody wanted anything to do with them in January those years. Moving over to the "who was really the best team and just blew it in January" criterion, I'm grabbing 1986. And then, of course, a criterion with which many here and over on dawgman are familiar, there's the "but, but the weffs!" criterion, and for that one I'm claiming the obvious 2002 natty. This one also substantiates the 1988 natty, where Miami got bent over and worked by the weffs in South Bend, losing by a point to eventual fake and phony natty winner Notre Dame.
This gives Miami 10 natties, not 5.
-
I'm claiming the 2023 Natty, especially now that they're going after Moore. What do I care what a bunch of Michigan Men think? And their same star players couldn't even beat Will Rogers after their advantage was gone. National Champion BuckNut backs me up on this and has for over a year.

Sweet 16 champs
-
Sorry you’re so upset about this.
-
You are one stupid motherfucker. I hope like hell that you aren't serious. In the sixties, polls decided the champ. They playoffs have decided this for the past fucking decade or so.
-
which poll named the 1960 and 1984 Huskies national champs?
-
Thats my word
