AI requires massive amounts of power. The Chinese are building Coal fired plants at a staggering rate. Is it really a surprise their solution would be cheaper?
Oh- and they steal Intellectual property with reckless abandon.
AI-run protocols whose only inputs are communist ideas and propaganda is basically worthless unless the whole globe goes full authoritarian Marxist.
Not worried at all about limited AI from the CCP. Hopefully we’re hacking it and inputting loads of data into it that emphasizes the horrors of Marxism throughout history. Then the AI can dismantle the CCP leadership for us without a shot being fired.
4 years of squat. Nothing but focus on wokeness and men in skirts. Embarrassing ineffectiveness internationally, crime through the roof, open borders, lack of response on our national disasters leaving 1000,s in places like NC stranded and destitute, the highest inflation in 4 decades, weaponized government against our own people, and you want to blame Trump after 7 days in office?
Grow up. This disgusting and embarrassing fake gotcha shit you have going on is ridiculous.
You don't know what you're talking about. If you did, you would know the backlog for their GPU's is months and years long. Their stock price took a hit not their demand for their technology. There is already massive push back on this fraudulent Chinese BS propoganda.
It's not that deep my guy. Months and years of backlog, yes, but drastically diminished by some factor that can't yet be quantified until it's clear how much these new AI models will be utilized. I'm not sure how that's not a decrease in demand, but go on. If that's not the case, please explain to me why Nvidia dropped 20%. Then explain to me how this is a black swan event and no one else in the world will develop something similar outside of China.
Notwithstanding that I am deeply involved with semis in the bay area, I'd trust market forces before an Internet tough guy fighting strawmen.
If it's Chinese it's highly likely it's fake or misrepresented in some way. How many uighurs in a camp with Google translate does it take to mimic AI? Reverse turing test.
It seems like they are ramping up the "China is ahead of the US" agit prop to deter Trump(or at least his base) from wanting further direct confrontation.

The only thing Buck has on his Bingo card is Mayonnaise.
So a joker say that Silicon Valley shouldn't have spent all their time making a PC AI that wouldn't offend the blue hair nose ring crowd

It's not the cost of electricity, it's that their AI model requires far fewer chips for comparable performance. That's why NVDA is getting smashed.

Don’t worry, I’m sure it’s on Project 2025 to address!!!!
I tell you what Buck had on his bingo card…selling NVDA when it was near $150!!!
I mean how many times do I have to be right? I told you when to buy this and I told you when to sell NVDA.
That being said, NVDA is still going to be fine.

I was told nvidia was going to go up forever
And you believe this? Tell me what SuperMicro stock was at when everyone believed they had shit to do with AI? Buy Chinese and you WILL get burned.
No other chip or GPU manufacturer can really compete here in the US so yeah it should continue to beat expectations.
Who are you talking to man? You’re wigging out.
I'm not advocating for buying anything. Merely pointing out that the demand for Nvidia's AI chips took a huge blow today

Dumbfuck, I've sold this shit for 25 years. I sold Nvidia their first VMware software circa 2005 and my own company for $14MM. GFY fool.
I’m with Roadhead here (And we never agree on everything)…..that was an incredibly dumb thing to say and overreaction.
great story, but irrelevant I’m afraid
You’ve got Buck on your side though, fwiw

I just appreciate Sources reading Apple News articles and trying to pass that article off as his analysis lmao.
