He's one of the dorks that wears the giant helmet diaper.
Of course.

The truth is no one knows how bad Rapp was hurt for the Rose Bowl
It sucks McKinney got cooked but no one knows the state of his hip. I seem to recall it really limited him at the combine.
I blame Petersen and the offense for not doing shit as usual
-
I think he was legit hurt. He missed the combine iirc and the hip was a visible problem when he ran for scouts at UW. That's what I recall.
Pussy still should've played. Robby Boscoe would've played.

Bruener played for a 6 and 6 team

Stats are for losers.
Also a bit triggering considering the 2024 Dawgs. I hope we move on from this organizational practice one day.
It was definitely Rapp's fault. Credit Urban for taking full advantage of the situation in the first half. Shrewd ball coach move. -
I'll always remember Petersen was doing his constant subbing shit and whenever he took Gaines out Urb just ran straight up the middle over and over and over again.
-
all of those yards came in the 4th quarter when UW was down by 25
UW slept walked through 3/4 of the game which happened a lot with Pete. Auburn was similar
-
Which is annoying because short of a win the least a team can give you is a good game and hope. When you just fade in the first half it robs you of alot
-
I've convinced myself that it was Rapp that drove Petersen to stark raving madness. I think I detailed these thoughts a few days or weeks ago and I still stand by them today. Staff needs blame for not having McKinney more prepared, but I think Pete and Coach K thought Rapp was playing, and the rug was pulled out right before the game. This caused Petersen to have a stroke and quit football. He could not believe a Dawg like Rapp could do such a thing. His entire foundation of trust in his guys and the sanctity of college football was incinerated in that moment. I like to believe this tale. Fuck Rapp.

I am far too aware, believe me.
Fiesta Bowl too.
