Don't fuck with the narrative that Jeb recruits a million, maybe a billion times, better than the last guy. He said he would and that's enough for some people.
I mean, anyone who looks can see it's a Sark class in most aspects (both HS and portal). It's long on overall numbers keeping it in the top 30 or whatever, and has a scattering of good looking players surrounded by scrubs and castoffs who will be in the portal next year. Not Oregon or USC 4* castoffs either. Guys who will transfer to the big sky.
The lines didn't get addressed adequately, and the guys he did get are question marks due to health or lack of an impressive track record.
I'm not even whelmed, let alone excited or overwhelmed.
Disagee. The former guy could develop and was good using available talent. He is pretty average at best at recruiting.
And, I am not mad. It just feels gross to watch a geriatric old man with shitty diapers sit in aisle nine crying at the top of his lungs that he needs his diaper changed.
I agree and disagree. The best class ever? No. Certainly not, swing and miss. A Sark class? I’m not going there either. The bottom third of this recruiting class has good/decent offers. Often the bottom of Sarks classes had Big Sky offers. I don’t think Sark or his staff had a good eye for talent or projections. Jedds time at Arizona leads me to believe he does have that knack. Moe, the guard UW needed from Arizona was a nobody recruit. I think his only other offer was Mercer. Now he’s getting a bag from Tennessee. I’d say Jedds first real class is more early Petersen than Sark. I could be wrong, only tim will tell.
Fisch earned that narrative since he took an Owen Arizona program and turned it into a 10-3 team in 3 years, mainly through HS recruiting.
Also, who cares if we get a big recruiting class? Get as many players in the door as you can and train them and see who's good. Whoever doesn't can go Big Sky or whatever. I don't see that as a negative in recruiting

UW still needs a good DT. Otherwise, they're probably not going to stop the run again next year. Which means they won't surprise and beat any good teams next year.
well, we? have the pieces for a .750 offense IF the line just becomes 25% better than TY. I’m bullish on the new DC and the D being again a force to reckon with, at least until he runs 2-3 yrs together and bolts to another HC job.
it’s back to if these coaches can develop talent and if Fish can manage the clock and not call FS plays.
And it's ok to Doog, at least a little, for Elinneus Davis and Bryce Butler. Davis looked pretty good as a RS-Frosh and Butler made some plays before getting dinged and having a family issue. I believe he redshirted.
While less likely, there is still a chance that Logan Sagapoulo comes back and then has a bigger impact. 2024 was his first season playing DT and with a year under his belt, he could take a step forward. He's obviously a massive human being and could spell Pepa so as to keep the latter as healthy as possible.
I think we're fine at DT now after adding Pepa and Thompson. We really can't take anymore bodies as it stand, and we'll likely lose one or two after Spring.

My dead grandma recruits a billion times better than the last guy.
And, she prefers soccer. hth
You can't back that up. That's why you repeat it and only get madder and more insulting when people don't agree.

The recruiting class is good and saying otherwise is dumb. Espn has it at 18 and they hate uw

Fuck you vanilla.

That comes across as pretty mad @EwaDawg
We hit the portal like a 6-7 team who is striving to go 7-6.
It's good. It's not great. And it's nowhere close to good enough for a team trying to compete for a B1G championship
So we? still suck?

So I’m back to 10 wins or GTFO fisher of boys.
I think Parker is a very good DT. I don’t think his Achilles is a good tendon though so we’ll see.

We also have Uiagalelei, who plays both DT and DE
Given out depth at DE, I see him playing DT most of 2025
I started my own Elineus Davis bandwagon when he was a recruit. That seems so long ago though. I thought he was an upperclassman by now.
Fisch really fucked up not getting Gusta. But I guess we? can't compete in the portal against the likes of Kentucky. JFC.
Let's remember that the two DTs committed on Dec 16th and David Gusta didn't enter the portal until Dec 19th.
