Neither is damaging. One far more embarrassing. 7 point game at the start of the 4th versus 26 points at the start of the 4th.

Oregon (13-0) losing to Ohio State 41-21 in the quarterfinals
You break out that pic once a year like a Christmas tree

easily Oregon Ohio state 2015. Was the end of an era with all of chip’s last group of veterans leaving and I remember leaving that game thinking we were in for a really rough few years as only helf’s guys would be left

Washington (14-0) losing to Michigan 34-13 in the Natty
The games themselves are basically a wash. That was probably UW’s last realistic chance at NC. If they had won and DeBoer still left we? would have held on to that forever and barely given a shit this year.
Oregon will be back in the playoffs next year and only Washington fans will remember the loss to Ohio State.
Fuck everything.

It's won mostly by whoever pays the most

Oregon (13-0) losing to Ohio State 41-21 in the quarterfinals
Multiple coaches have made it there in the last decade with a crap AD fighting NIL the second time. No reason to assume they can't again.

Half the roster followed him to Bama, huh? Bullshit. Four UW players transferred to Bama in 2024… the rest got drafted or left for bags at other programs.

Huh?
followed him out the door not out to Bama. Comprehension matters.

I read this as which was more embarrassing and that was an easy choice. I don’t think either are necessarily damaging. It did seem like this was a great year for Oregon which lined up well nationally but I wonder if more and more every year it’s just going to be a pretty even field of 10 teams and whoever has the best portal mercenaries who Pop and put it together in the Playoffs just wins and we’re done with super dominant teams and they’re setup well for that.
